I was so sorry to see the passing of Jorge.
I was a mentor for him at the Boys & Girls Club.
He was such a joy to be around and had terrific laugh and personality.
He got along with everyone at the Boys & Girls Club!
Many prayers to family and friends!

My son Justin Gutierrez and l, Joe Gutierrez, had the blessings of knowing Jorge when we coached Jorge on our soccer club team when he was a younger man like middle school through high school on the Green Extreme team. Jorge was a player every coach would want on their team to coach. .Jorge was a hustler never stopped giving effort , easy to coach following instructions at all times. Jorge always had a great smile for everyone rarely lost his anger. Jorge was one of our top players, always supporting his fellow team mates ,rarely complaining, always respectful to team mates, coaches and opposing opponents, showing respect to other coaches and referees or club officials, showing respect and gamesmanship at all times. Always pitching in picking up equipment, soccer gear and refreshments and anyones gear left on the field. Jorge was a fine example of how a soccer player should carry himself on the fields and off. We would love to have had eleven Jorges on the team but alas we only had one and we were happy to have him.l will sadly miss Jorge not being around to hear his smiles and jokes and hustle and that not quit effort. We will never have a Jorge like him again. Its always hard to find a finer young man like Jorge. We pray to God to take care of Jorge for us as he is with our loving God. Jorge helped make the Green Extreme soccer team great. justin and l will miss him So much we both wished the best for Jorge in all his endeavors but know he will do it in Heaven. God Bless you Jorge and your familys and friends the pleasure for us was having you given to uS in our trust and care. God Bless you from Coach Justin and Coach Joe Gutierrez Forever your coach.
