Rose Valdez Obituary
Rose Valdez, 96, of Pueblo, passed away on Feb. 9, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Valdez; infant daughter; parents, Elias and Modesta Cruz; eight siblings. She is survived by four children, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. Viewing, 3 to 4:30 p.m. Monday, in rotations of 10 person, 15 minute increments. Please call Romero's at 719-583-1313 to schedule a time. Private family service 10 a.m. Tuesday. Interment to follow, Imperial Memorial Gardens. Service may be viewed through livestream on Facebook at Romero Family Funeral Home, Pueblo and YouTube at Romero Family Funeral Home Pueblo.

Rosela and Ernesto were my Mom and Dads best friends. They use to come over our house and have a good time telling jokes, eating, we would play the guitars and sing. We loved them and they loved us. My Parents and Ernest passed away. I would think of Rosela so I decided to keep in contact with her thru the years. She would always be sooo happy to see me or hear from me. I loved her so much. Shirley you were the best daughter any parent could have. You guys were a hoot together. Love you. Rosela you will be missed so much.

Dear Valdez family, Your mother will truly be missed. Rose would make you feel at home even if you hadn't seen her for a while. She'd make you laugh at the silliest things. Passing by 28 Lane and Hillside Road will not be the same. May all the loving memories bring you comfort as it does me.

Rose, rest in peace in the company of our Lord Jesus, and with loved ones. You will be greatly missed by the entire Pueblo community. Mrs. Valdez was a friend to our whole family. So kind and sweet. She made hats for the entire Girl's Ministry of Praise Assembly of God and GM Teachers. Shirley Homer, I know you'll miss your "sidekick". Can't picture you without your Momma beside you. I have wonderful memories of my visits to Mrs. Valdez's house.
