Devner Jeffers Obituary
Frankfort - Denver L. "Denny" Jeffers, 59, of Frankfort, died at 10:45 am on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Signature Healthcare, Chillicothe. He was born on Wednesday, June 21, 1961 in Columbus, the son of the late Alvie D. and Mildred L. Higginbotham Jeffers Sr.. On December 15, 2015, he married his loving wife, the former Dianna Furniss, and she survives.
In addition to his wife, Denny is survived by two sons, Jeremiah Jeffers of Chillicothe, Zachariah (Misty) Jeffers of Chillicothe, four daughters, Amy (Bill McCoy) Newlun of Chillicothe, Donnie (Terrelle) Ward of Frankfort, Jamie Lucas of Grove City, Hannah (Derek) Fabris of South Carolina, twelve grandchildren, Nathaniel, Holden, Sawyer, Memphis, Legend, Brooklynn, Julian, Terriyah, Terrelle Jr., Darian, Terron, Terronica, one sister, Robin (Terry Sims) Jeffers of Frankfort, one brother, Tony (Debbie) Jeffers of Lucasville, and one brother-in-law, Jack Short of Frankfort. Denny was preceded in death by one daughter, Jackie Jeffers, two sons, Graham Jeffers, and Colby Owens, and one sister, Joyce Short.
Denny worked as a chief engineer on the AEP riverboats. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, fishing, horseback riding, and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Philadelphia Fellowship and was saved by Pastor Cliff Rowe in June of 2019.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort. Those wishing to sign Denny's online register may do so at www.ebrightfuneralhome.com.

I worked with Denver as Deck Engineer on several different AEP vessels before I retired in 11/30/2018, he was and excellent fellow to work and spend time with, he was a hard worker and I am sure many of deck crew appreciated that, I am very happy to find out he was saved also. My condolences to the family for I am sure he will be greatly missed by them.
