Stephen Rowland Obituary
LEXINGTON, KY: Stephen G. Rowland, 58, of Lexington, KY, died 12:10 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born December 11, 1955, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to James and Marjorie "Marge" Masters Rowland. On December 31, 1996, he married the former Lucinda "Cindy" Tinker who survives.
In addition to his wife, surviving are his mother, Marjorie "Marge" Thompson; father, James Rowland; children, Conor Baker Fitzgibbons, Anthony (Chanelle) Baker and David (Ginger) Baker; grandchildren, Ryne, Mark and Paxton Baker; a sister, Susan Ward; a brother, David (Lisa) Rowland; mother-in-law, Jo Tinker; a brother-in-law, Todd Tinker; an uncle, Danny Masters; an aunt, Delores Silvey; several nieces and nephews, including a niece, Samantha Barnhart and special nephews, Ian Rowland and Blake Tinker; stepsisters, Dianne Chamberlin and Shannon Coriell; and a stepbrother, Monte Thompson He was predeceased by a sister, Sally Rowland Frank; stepfather, Ray W. Thompson; and step mother, Pat Rowland.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2014 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery where there will be military graveside rites. Friends may call at Ware's from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday.

I am at a loss for words. Stephen and I went into the Navy together over 40 years ago, I had a photo I was just looking at the other day with us standing in front of the recruiting station the day we left. I misplaced it! I found this today while searching. I had always hoped for a reunion some day. Lost track after this photo was taken in 1988 on my way through Florida to Daytona Bike Week. Man how time has flown by. So very sorry for your loss and that I never got a chance to say goodbye. Rest In Peace my friend.
