David Scott Gricks

1962 - 2015

David Scott Gricks, age 52, Inverness, Florida, died April 16, 2015, under the loving care of his family and the devoted staff of Hospice of Citrus and Nature Coast. Scott was born June 12, 1962, in Santa Ana, California, to David C. and Judy Ann (Baker) Gricks. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy as a SeaBee. Scott was the owner/operator of a concrete company.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Paula Renee' Gricks; his parents, David Gricks and Judy Baker; sons, Scott Wayne Gricks (wife-Kimberly) of Parker, Colorado and Corey Flynn Branham of Maple Valley, Washington; daughters, Sara Ann Ludemann of Arlington, Washington, Davina Lafawn Underwood (husband-Robert), Debary; his brothers, Theodore Gricks (wife-Susan), Chesapeake, Virginia, Robert Gricks (wife-April), Plant City, Nathan Gricks, Bend, Oregon; his sister, Joelyn Close-Schibig (husband-Theron),Salem, Oregon; four grandchildren, Chloe Gricks, Chelsey Underwood, Carter Ludemann, and Halynn Ludemann.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday, from the Hernando Church of The Nazarene with Pastor Randy Hodges officiating. Burial will follow in Florida National Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
