Marian Kobb Obituary
Marian Annette Kobb, age 66, Lake Panasoffkee, FL, passed away January 14, 2023, in Citrus Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.
Marian was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 18, 1956 to the late Frank and Frances (Bonjorno) Smaldone and came to this area in 1989 from Tennessee. She was a retired Medical Assistant, having worked in Citrus Memorial Hospital and area nursing homes.
Marian's love for helping people continued after her passing, as she was also an organ donor. Marian was the sunshine that brightened everyone's day. Her laughter was infectious. She was known as Momma by so many. She loved animals of all kinds, especially her two dogs Max and Dinky. She enjoyed feeding and watching the wild peacocks, sheep and horses that lived on her property. If you knew Marian you knew true love … she was an amazing mother to her children, a wonderful wife to her husband, a loving grandma to her grandchildren and an incredible friend. She was the light in everyone's life. And she will forever be loved.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Brian Kobb, Lake Panasoffkee, FL ; 3 children: Jennifer Marques-Compostella (Joseph), Inverness; Mathew Marques (Katherine), Inverness; Tara Welsand (Samuel), Inverness and 9 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her oldest son, Mark J. Marques, II on July 14, 2020.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 3:00 PM from the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Darrell Reneau of Cornerstone Baptist Church officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until the hour of service.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory.

Marian truly was the most beautiful person I´ve ever met-inside and out. Her humor was unmatched, always bringing laughter to every situation, and her kindness had a way of making everyone feel special.
She was so much fun to be around, and I cherish all the memories we created together. Lately, I´ve found myself thinking about her a lot. I had a dream of her recently. She was dancing and taking shots on the beach, smiling and laughing. I like to think it's her way of telling us that she's good up there in heaven.
She was more than just a friend; she was one of my favorite people in the world, and her impact on my life is something I´ll always carry with me.
I´m also incredibly grateful for the friendship she had with my mom. Marian would always call and check up on her, and that meant the world to me. Her thoughtfulness and care were truly special. Marian was the most remarkable and extraordinary person/soul I've ever met. It was an honor to have been loved by her.
I miss her deeply and am thankful for the time we had together.

You are like another grandmother to me, such bright and amazing energy. You're always a ball of light when you step into the room and for everyone to share their smiles and laughs with every joke you make is a blessing on its own. I remember being just a toddler and while my mom was moving me and my brother down into Florida, I stayed with you for awhile, more than once if I remember well. You would always call me Pumpkin and it made me feel like family and that´s what we are. Family through gods great connections, when Nikki had Gabriel and how Jen´s been friends with Phil since childhood who then met Stacy. It all connects so intricately and I´m so blessed you were in my life, I will hold all of my memories close to me, may you rest easy and be granted all the glory in the hereafter. We love you!

Marian always treated me like family from the day I met her. She gave some of the best hugs and when her and mama (Becki Childs) you know it was gonna be a fun time. My Dearest Friend Marian,
I am going to miss your smile and laughter your ability to light up a room my simply walking into it. I will miss being able to call you anytime I want and you always answering.
