Marilyn Clyatt Kamann, 78 of Trenton, FL passed away Thursday March 4, 2021 at her home.
She was born December 18, 1942 in Gainesville, FL to Rufus and Edrie (Dean) Cox. She was of the Baptist faith.
Marilyn was a former long-time resident of Crystal River, FL, and belonged to the Women of the Moose there. She was notably the first and only woman fire commissioner in Citrus County. Marilyn was a member of seven historical societies and published three family trees.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Jimmie A Clyatt in 1985 and her second husband Terry A Kamann in 2000.
She is survived by her children Jimmie Allen Clyatt, Jr. and his wife Candy of Crystal River, FL, Beverly DeVillez and her husband Dan of Crystal River, FL, Deborah Kearns and her husband Keith of Chiefland, FL and Taryn Clyatt of Crystal River, FL. Grandsons David Kearns and his wife Beth Ann, Daniel Kearns and his wife Elisha, Roy Clyatt and his wife Stacy, Daniel DeVillez and his wife Millie. Granddaughters Aimee DeVillez, Sasha and Adrienne Thompson, Danielle Wood and her husband Justin. Great grandchildren Zayah and Devin DeVillez, Rayne DeVillez, Cade and Savannah Kearns, Mikayla Kearns and Brenton Wood.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 6 PM to 8 PM on Monday March 8th at the Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Crystal River, FL. A graveside service will be conducted by Rev Robin Thomas at 2 PM on Tuesday March 9th in the Crystal River Memorial Park Cemetery.
