Mike is survived by his wife Donna and their six children; Jayme (Chris), Rochelle (Greg), Tim (Heather), Joshua, Sasha, and Eden, his brother Art and 13 grandchildren.
His suffering has come to an end and he will always be remembered for the love he shared with his wife and his famous saying "Everyday I'm married to Donna, I fall more and more in love with her." Mike's love for his family and extended family was limitless, he loved his family more than words could ever express and showed this love by working hard every day of his life and setting an incredible example for every single person who knew him. His love and faith in Jesus was unparalleled and he reflected this love in the way he lived his life.
Mike loved to teach and share all of his knowledge with everyone he met including his special love for all things Sci-Fi, comic books and superheros. After all he was a superhero to everyone that loved him. He always said that if he could have any super power it would be to fly. Well today Mike our husband, dad and superhero you get your wish take flight with our heavenly father and know you will always be remembered we love you and will forever miss you. Semper FI.
Although Mike battled for years with Alzheimer's which slowly hid his memories from him we always have and always will remember for him and will always share the love, laughs, hugs, tears we have shared with him. So In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association (Alz.org) in his name.

Donna and family, I just got word of Mike´s passing. I know it´s been a long time, but I just wanted to let you know that I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I don´t know if you knew Donna, but I lost my precious Joyce on January 30th, 2012. She had cancer.
I hurt so without my sweetheart! I have been trying to carry on, serving others who hurt, leading a home fellowship, and volunteer at Hospice to support patients who face death, and comfort families.
I have a broken heart since losing Joycie, if you ever need someone to talk with I´m available. My email address is: [email protected]
Phone number is: 360-296-0977. Again, I´m so sorry to hear of your loss.

We have very fond memories of being in his home in Lyndon and sharing happy times with him and Donna including great Mexican meals in Bellingham. Also being in their home in California sharing great days with their family. Mike was a fun person to be with and we remember his smile. God bless you Mike.

Where Mike walks

September 20, 2017

Envision Mike walking and talking in the garden alone with the Master. His heart is bursting with love unspeakable as he gazes at Jesus with joy untold!.
The glow of Jesus' countenance radiates all around. The surroundings are lush . thriving , vibrating with life .... aglow with color..... With Hues and vibrancies unknown and unseen ever before "Lord let me tell you about my Donna....." "I know Donna son, I have always known you both. You have been my ambassadors on earth, I have watched you do my will all of your lives... You both have a special place here with me in paradise, In what will seem like the
blink of an eye you will walk hand
in hand again.... Well done good and faithful servant"....(Inspired by the Holy
Spirit. Love Jackie and Clyde)

This is beautiful. Thank you , Mike for showing me what a dad and husband should be like. Thank you for all the laughs, spiritual talks, loving me when I was hard to love, guiding me when I didn't want to listen, spending time with me and my kids. I will never forget watching Forrest Gump in the theater with you or watching you let Johnny "drive" you to Chuck E. CHEESE. I will be forever grateful to you and Donna for allowing God to use you to save my life physically, emotionally, and spiritually. You opened up your home and took a chance in believing in me when I had no hope for myself. I love you so much. I am so blessed to be a part of your family! See you in heaven!
