Aunt Teri Lenahan

I loved how Tony would call me Aunt Teri in that deep, husky voice. Whenever I visited from Oregon, he gave up his bedroom so that I could have a comfortable bed to sleep in. At dinner time, I remember he wanted me to watch how he tried to eat more than his dad. He was such a loving kid, always smiling. I admired his friendship with his brother Nick. They had their share of sibling rivalry but it never seemed too extreme. I will miss Tony dearly and I pray, in time, that Nick will find peace and rejoice in his brother's spirit. I love you both.

I remember you as a little baby and toddler with your brother Tyler and growing up into fine young men. You will be missed, but always in my heart and thoughts. You are now with Granny. Your mother Dona Jean and father Frankie were so proud of you and your brother Tyler. You are now in God's hands and in my prayers always. As I've been keeping your mother Dona Jean also in my prayers too.

I had Tony in Kindergarten class.
One never knows what lies ahead
For one you meet along the path of life.
Surely he had his triumphs and failures.
Surely he did not choose the easy way.
For you & me he chose to defend ~To save,
He loved us more than life itself.
He followed in the footsteps of the Master.
To guard his own in danger with his life,
You are my newest HERO!
I have seen Him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps,
They have builded Him an altar in the evening dews and damps;
I can read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps:
His day is marching on.
St. Maximillian Kolbe pray for us!
