WHITAKER
Arthur L., beloved husband of Elizabeth R. Whitaker (nee Russell) and the late H. Bernadine Whitaker (nee Miller); devoted father of Debra (Robert) Hucke and Roger (Debbie) Whitaker; loving grandfather of three; great grandfather of two; son of the late Allie and Arthur L. Whitaker. Preceded in death by sister, Joyce Harp and brother, Donald Whitaker. October 13, 2012. Age 83. 50 year member of various Masonic organizations. Commander and Director of Syrian Temple Legion of Honor. Visitation will be at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pk., Springdale Wednesday from 5 to 7:30 PM. Montgomery Lodge #94 and Scottish Rite Ring services will be held at 7:30 PM. Funeral service will be at the funeral home Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 11 AM. Memorial donations may be sent to Shriners Hospitals for Children. Condolences to www.vorhisandryan.com.

Dear Betty,
I'm so glad I talked to you the other night. Who would have thought he'd go so soon, but what a blessing for him and you. I just found out at installation this afternoon. I don't get the paper and no one called or I would have been there!You had a lot of good years together.
