Beatrice Baumgartner Obituary
Cincinnati - Sister Beatrice Marie Baumgartner, sister of the Sisters of Mercy for 73 years. Daughter of the late August Baumgartner and Amelia Hohman. Passed away on March 4, 2018 at the age of 92. Survived by cousin, Howard Hohman. Friends may call at McAuley Convent, 1768 Cedar Ave., 45224, on Friday, March 9, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at 6:15 p.m. at the convent. Burial at St. Joseph (New) Cemetery, Saturday, March 10 at 9:15 a.m. Memorials may be directed to Sisters of Mercy, McAuley Convent, 1768 Cedar Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45224.

Sister Bea was very dear to our family. She taught me in 1st grade at St. Cecilia parish many, many years ago. She and my mother were lifelong friends until my mother passed away in 2012. I remember going to visit her in Piqua and all the other places she served the Lord. She was a very kind and gentle soul that was loved by many!
