Dear Family,
I worked with Charlie at CFC for many years. He was kind, funny, talented, polite, and perhaps the most geniune man I have ever met in all of my life.
He truly touched the lives of everyone who knew him. I will miss him very much.
And, although you have suffered an incredible loss...Please thank God that you had him in your lives for as long as you did. For you sincerely have been blessed. Godspeed.

Dear Mary Jo,
I feel very lucky to have been at the poilce museum when the two of you visited. It also was very fortunate that other old District 3 personnel were on hand to exchange old war stories. Charlie's sense of humor will be missed. He was able to express that humor through his stories and drawings equally well.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

A Truly wonderful man with many talents. You can't forget that smile. He will be truly missed. I only knew him a short while, but I know what an effect he made on everyone, especially his family. God bless him and may his family find comfort in knowing he is with the Lord and is now reunited with all the family and friends he had lost throughout his life journey. God Bless.

Dear Mary Jo and family, You do not know me. I went to school at St. Monica with Charlie. My father was scoutnaster at St Monica, George B. Helmer. Charlie was always friendly to all in our class. My son Joseph Froehle met Charlie thru Joe's work(Joe is a pipe fitter repair man). Joe and Charlie found a common interest and thru that Charlie and Joe realized I went to school with Charlie. Joe always spoke highly of Charlie, Charlie would ask about me now and then, Joe said. Mary Jo, you and your family are in my prayers asking God to grant you grace and strength in this time of sorrow. Sincerely, Therese A. Helmer Froehle. 511 Fortune Ave, Cinti 45219
