Gayle Marsh Obituary
- - Gayle H. age 72, passed away March 3rd 2018, Co-worker and best friend for many years of Robert Gregory, dear sister of Linda (Seth) Kranz, devoted aunt of Heather (Mike) Dollar and Rick (Betsy) Kranz, Adoring great nieces and nephew of, Allie, Emma, Katie, Ayla, Ryan, Zoe and Hellen. Also survived by many loving friends and students. Private graveside services were held. Come celebrate Gayle's life Friday March 9th, from 5:30-8:30PM at the Irish Heritage Center located 3905 Eastern Ave. Memorial contributions, The American Cancer Society. www.weilfuneralhome.com

Miss Gayle Marsh was my art teacher in elementary school and high school. I always loved helping out in art class and followed her footsteps. Went on to UC for a degree in Art Education. I got my Masters from Miami of Oxford(not UC). Became an art teacher for 9 years. Even ended up with Breast Cancer. Never married - still waiting.

Gayle and her friend Bob were my favorite teachers and among my closest friends in High School. Much of my high school experience is defined by the time I spent with both of them hanging out in the art department. I learned so much about art and even more about life from Gayle. I had the very special privilege of touring some of the finest art museums in Europe with her as part Sycamore's German exchange student program. Gayle taught me so much about the appreciation of beauty and redefined for me what it meant. The world has lost one of the most beautiful people in the world in her passing. I miss her dearly but she'll always remain near and dear to my heart.

Gayle was one of the treasured friends God chose to bless my life with her gentile, loving creativity. Will never forget gardening, flower arranging, and collecting miniatures which made our friendship so fun. I lost a good friend but will have the memories of our friendship forever.

Ms, Marsh was instrumental in helping me develop a portfolio that got me a scholarship and eventually a career in art. She was a talent and an inspiration that will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. I'll also miss our Thrift store and garage sale conversations. Heaven is a collection and I'm sure Gail is right at home.
