Dr. Gregory W., 63, beloved husband of Tanis (nee Harlow), devoted father of Elise (Brandon) Evans and Kelsey Carpenter, dear son of Alvena and the late George Carpenter, brother of Jeffrey (Sandi) Carpenter and uncle of one niece and nephew. Passed away February 26, 2013. Dr. Carpenter practiced Internal Medicine in Mason for over 22 years. Visitation at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040 TODAY, February 28 from 5-8 PM and Friday from 10 AM until time of Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Rose Hill Cemetery. Thank you dr. C. For helping me to quit smoking in 1993. I was struggling with repeated bouts of bronchitis when he told me my lungs were already those of an old woman’s. I cried and said I’ve tried many times to quit. He patted my arm and said I will help you. I threw my pack away and have never smoked again. Today is February 21, 2021..

Over the years I've had many Doc's. We moved around and as a result exposed to many good physicians. We returned to Ohio and I found Dr Carpenter who was recommended by another D.O. who is an Orthopedic Surgeon. Although being treated buy very competent physicians over the years none compared to Dr Carpenter nor to his staff in that little Mason office. He will most definetly be missed --- RIP. My sympathy to his family and to his staff.

Dr. Carpenter was a GREAT doctor and I often thought of switching PCP's to be in his care although it would be a long drive...I worked at B North and remember having to call him in the wee hours of the night...he was such a caring doctor and a great mentor for nurses as well!! Big Bear is what we called you. I remember you calling me little bear and Evan microbear. We loved swimming in your pool. Evan will never forget how you picked him up in his life jacket and threw him in the pool. He was scared at first but then he wanted you to keep doing it again. I loved coming to the office to visit my mom and I would get cookies and suckers before I left. You always to Evan he was so little he would be great bait for some fish. Big Bear is how we remember you. You called me little bear (Ashley) and Evan micro bear. We loved swimming in your pool.
