I worked with Jay very closely early in my career at GE/MM/LM/BAE and am grateful for that wonderful opportunity. I learned so much from such a brilliant engineer. I always enjoyed sharing my trips with him and hearing about his fascinating adventures. He made a difference in my life, and will be remembered and missed. Please accept my deepest condolences for his passing.

Terri, I am sadden with sorrow of the passing of Jay. This was quite a surprise to all of us here in Cincinnati. I am glad I saw him in 2005 at Susan Cook's memorial service. I will always remember Jay for the good time we have spent together working in the lab at Evendale and share the same hobby in woodworking. This will take me a bit longer to accept his death. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Domingo T. See, Jr (Fairfield, Ohio).

Dear Blosser Family,

I remember attending masses at Our Lady of Good Council, and both of your parents, Emily, being so encouraging, nice, and friendly. I am grateful to have met them. Although the loss of your father will be difficult, and nothing can replace the love he had for you, or the love you have for him, may the transcending peace of Christ enfold you as you know that he is now doing God's will more than ever. His music, I am sure, while it is reigning in your hearts, is also reigning with the angels in heaven. You are in our prayers, and may God giving you comfort, healing, and peace. With sympathy and love, Mary Grenchus-Allen

Dear Terri, Emily, and Gregory,
I was so sorry to hear about Jay’s sudden death at such a young age while he was vacationing in Thailand. I got to know Jay while I was still working at Boeing and he was at GE / Lockheed Martin / BAE. He was always such a joy to talk to and a great person to work with. He was smart and he was charming. My wife Ellen and I send you our heartiest condolences at this very sad occasion. We also pray that his soul rests in peace,

My husband and I worked with Jay at BAE. We got to know him back in the 90's when he was working on a project with our cubemate. Over the years I always enjoyed talking with him and found him a fascinating person to speak with. He was a brilliant engineer and a really cool guy. We are deeply saddened to hear of his passing. He will be missed.
