Colerain - Paul W. Girten
Beloved husband of Charlene Girten of 37 years and the late Eileen Girten of 28 years. A longtime owner of Girten's Marathon. Devoted father of Mike (Peggy), Bill (Sandy), David (Heidi), Becky (Ken) and Jenny (Mike). Cherished grandfather of 18 and great-grandfather of 18. A dear brother of Elaine Silvernell and the late Bob and Jack Girten. Paul passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the age of 87 years. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 9:30-11:30am at White Oak Christian Church, 3675 Blue Rock Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45247 with funeral service immediately following at 11:30am at the church. Interment at Arlington Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations can be made to the Smile Train, my.smiletrain.org/donate. Online condolences can be made at www.paulyoungfuneralhome.com. Paul R. To all the Paul's children, Paul was a good man. I wish I had known that he passed away. I have nothing but fond memories of Eileen and Paul. They were family to me when I was young.

So many memories of Paul and the whole family. Filling up at Girtens Marathon, following a visit to M & F was a Saturday ritual.
