Thomas L. Sweeney, age 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 14, 2016. Devoted husband of 65 years to the late Mary Joan "Josie" Hocks Sweeney. Beloved father of Kathleen, Michael, Kevin, Patrick, Sharon and Shaun (Kim) Sweeney, Eileen (Don) Goodman, Bridget (Chip) Glaescher and Megan (John) Groene. Adored Grandfather of 27, Great Grandfather of 5. Loving Son of the late Walter J. and Helen Sweeney. Brother of Constance (Joe) McKenna and the late Jane (Gaylord) Lewis, Peggy (Hugh) Bonner, Jacob (Jean) Sweeney, Helen (Charlie) Cantrell, Patricia (Charlie) Buck, Walter (Mary Claire) Sweeney and NiNi (Paul) Hoffman. Brother-in law of Donna (Jim) Meakin, Richard (Elaine) Hocks and the Late Harry (Elaine) Hocks. Also, Uncle to 61 nieces and nephews and loyal companion to his loving pets Dixie and Walter. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 20, 10AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Church. Visitation will be held Friday, 4-7PM at Geo. H. Rohde & Son Funeral Home, Mt. Lookout.
