It was with great shock and dismay that we learned of Bill's passing. We are long time friends who had just spent 5 wonderful days with him in Panama City Beach at the beginning of January and saw him on his way back home to attend the premiere of his new work about which he shared his excitement and quiet pride. We had been trying to reach Bill since Jan 11th to no avail. It is only on February 14th that we checked on internet to learn of his passing.
Bill was a gem of a man for whom his love of family and friends was at the core of his being. We have had many opportunities to share in his musical genius in a very intimate and personal way and his music will be with us forever.
We would like for some of his relatives and or some of Bill Loring's relatives to reach out to us so we can share some of our memories with them. We will not be able to attend his celebration of life tomorrow but he will certainly be very present in our thoughts. Goodbye dear friend and hugs and kisses to both you and Bill Loring.

It is with great dismay that we learned of Bill's passing as we had just spent 5 wonderful days with him in Panama City Beach this past January. The last we heard from Bill was on Jan 10th in a text saying he was safely home from Panama City Beach. We had been trying to reach him since that time with no success till we started thinking the worst had happened and were shocked to find out on Feb 14th that he had passed away. We are looking to connect with relatives of his or of Bill Loring to tell us what happened. We are deeply saddening by his passing. We will not be able to attend his celebration of life tomorrow, but would like to hear from relatives. We have left multi messages on Bill's voice mail, e-mail and texts. We are reaching out for some of his loved ones to contact us. We have known Bill for 15 years and have shared some very special and intimate times with him. Bill was a gem of a man whose love for his family and friends was at the core of his being. His musical genius will live on forever in our hearts and in the hearts of everybody who knew him. Goodbye my friend may you rest in peace and hugs and kisses to you and Bill Loring
