Stephanie Whittemore Obituary
Candler - Stephanie West Whittemore, age 55, of Candler, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018 surrounded by her family and friends.
Mrs. Whittemore was born January 30, 1963 in Buncombe County to the late Melton Eugene and Jesse Juanita Ashe West. Stephanie retired from Lustar Dyeing and Finishing Company. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George "Rocky" Whittemore, Jr. who died in 2003.
She is survived by her significant other, Cecil B. Link; sons, Jeremy West of Weaverville, Brian Barnes and Eugene Barnes both of Asheville; sisters, Judith Jean Ridley of Hermitage, TN and Brenda Sue Beresford of Hemet, CA; brother, Roger Keith West of Alexander; grandchildren, Aidan Sean West, Emily Lynn West and Johnathan Tyler Barnes.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
West Funeral Home is assisting the family.
