Michael Karpinski Obituary

Michael Karpinski, 53, of Nanticoke passed away Monday, April 14, 2014, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.

He was born in Nanticoke, was the son of the late Henry and Catherine Karpinski and was employed in construction as a sheet metal worker.

He loved Penn State football and basketball.

Surviving is a brother, Henry J. Karpinski Jr. and wife, Doreen, Hunlock Creek.

Funeral services will take place at 9 a.m. Thursday from Grontkowski Funeral Home P.C., 51-53 W. Green St., Nanticoke, with interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. There are no calling hours.
