Peter Grabowski Obituary
Peter Grabowski, 53, of Cockeysville, Md., passed away Monday, Aug. 30, 2021.
Born on May 2, 1968 in Kansas City, Mo., he was the son of Dr. Marie A. Hanish Grabowski and the late Dr. Bernard F. Grabowski.
Peter graduated from Bishop Hoban High School, Class of 1986, received a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Millersville University, Class of 1991, and earned a master's degree from Towson University. Peter's career in education included 29 years of service to Baltimore City Public Schools, 26 of which were dedicated to Baltimore City College. Peter was devoted to his teaching career and impacted the lives of numerous students.
Peter enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at Lake Silkworth, watching the Baltimore Ravens play football and listening to his favorite band, the Rolling Stones. Peter was a beloved son, brother, uncle and a friend to all.
Peter was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Bernard F. Grabowski of Nanticoke.
Peter is survived by his mother, Dr. Marie Hanish Grabowski, Nanticoke; sister, Ann Grabowski Lucarino and husband Jared, Conyngham; brother, Mark Grabowski, Nanticoke; sister, Jean Grabowski, Wilkes-Barre; niece, Elizabeth Marie Lucarino; and nephew, Andrew James Lucarino.
The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday from Earl W. Lohman Funeral Home Inc., 14 W. Green St., Nanticoke. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. in St. Faustina Parish, 520 S. Hanover St., Nanticoke. Interment will be at St. Adalbert's Cemetery, Glen Lyon. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Baltimore City College at baltimorecitycollege.us (donate, memo: Peter Grabowski).
Covid-19 protocols will be in effect for visiting hours and funeral services. Masks are required.

Was so sad to hear. "Limo" Pete was a childhood friend who we shared a lot of good times together in the limo and having fun traveling around Luzerne county. RIP my friend you will be missed. God Bless.
