Stella Yashowitz Obituary

It is with sorrow and much love that Stella S. Yashowitz, of Mountain Top, passed away peacefully Monday, Nov. 8, 2021.

She was born Jan. 23, 1924, the daughter of the late Leon and Urszula Stanczyk, Fairfield, Conn.

Her husband and love of her life, Otto Yashowitz, a 20-year U.S. Army veteran of both World War II and the Korean War, preceded her in death in 1990. Also preceding her in death were her brother, John; and loving sister-in-law, Eleanor; as well as a wonderful and loving granddaughter, Renee.

Surviving are her two sons, Richard and wife, Mary; and Michael and wife, Lorraine; grandchildren, Mark and wife, Megan; Alicia and husband, Ernest; and Christopher; great-grandchildren, Thomas, Ryan, Matthew, Hailey and Bradley.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family and are under the direction of McCune Funeral Service, Mountain Top.
