You know how much you and your whole family mean to me. You guys made me a part of your extended family many, many years ago and I will always cherish that! My fondest memories of Carol are when she would call you at work, but ask for me first so she could call you goofy names or ask me what you were really doing! Her sense of humor was priceless and I know she loved you with all her heart. I hope your memories of laughter and silliness with her will help carry you through this very difficult time. I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Carol. She had suffered for several years and now its over. You could never tell because she wouldn't complain. She was a very good friend to have. She was right by my side when my brother passed in 1981. I know Carol was a wonderful daughter sister and mother. She will greatly be missed. Rest peacefully Carol. Love you forever, Lillie.

My heart goes out to you as you lay your sister/daughter to rest. God be with you all. Working at Stormont gave me the opportunity to visit with Carol. I asked her if there was anything she would like to eat, to which she replied with a big grin "a tamale." You should have seen the smile on her face when I took one, Carol ate the masa as I munched on the meat, it was priceless!!!
