Donna Schwader Obituary

Donna Lee Schwader, 82, Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at her home. Donna was born January 15, 1923 in Clarinda, IA, the daughter of Alwin and Lela Kingery. She grew up in St. Joseph, MO. Donna married Chester Schwader on June 6, 1942. They later divorced. For many years, she and her husband operated Comet Moving and Storage Company in Topeka. She later worked for Shawnee Federal Savings. Donna was a member of First United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters; Sheryl Schwader and Lyndall Wenger and husband, Wayne, all of Topeka; 2 grandchildren, Heather Eckerman, Wichita and Chad Wenger, Topeka; and three great grandchildren; Kelsi and Kyle Wenger and Connor Eckerman. A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 23, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Schwader will lie in state at the funeral home after 2:00 P.M. on Thursday and visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. Sorry to hear about Donna Lee. I will always remember the first time I met her, when she came to visit us in Colorado. She was really a neat lady. Wish she could have visited again. It was always good to hear from her at christmas.

-cannot begin to tell you the heart

-broken hurt I feel;I haven't seen-

-Donna for over a month now but,I'm

-so relieved to have known her and,

-that she is finally released from-

-her pain,hurt and,misery;living is

-a supreme gift from Almighty God,- -with each new and,beautiful day.-

-I have already prayed for Donnas'-

-memory;I loved her as my neighbor,

-you can count on that!When I was- -moving in with my Mother here,I saw

-Donna in the hallway,checking us- -both out;how was I to later know-

-she would be my comforting neighb-

-or most dear to me and,I tried to-

-be as quiet as I could be,knowing- -her nap time schedule and,etc.,.- -You ALL are in my prayers';please

-take care of,yourselves'and,some- -day,many years'on,these memories'

-will fill your hearts with the love,
