Dorothy, Tim, Terry & Tammy. We were very sorry to learn of Jim's passing. He has been an inspiration in our lives since we first got to know your family at Lowman all those years ago. Jim was truly God's devoted disciple. He set a positive example of a Christian life for everyone he met. Now God has called him home and while that is a sad time for all of you, just think of the rapture Jim is experiencing in the actual presence of the Lord. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. My husband and I came to know Jim through years of teaching with his wife Dorothy. It was most evident that Jim was a very supportive and caring gentleman devoted to his wife and family. He has touched many lives and will be remembered kindly by the many influences and contributions he made throughout his life for others. We will remember his smile and always friendly and positive attitude. Our thoughts go to the family and we know their love and strength will help them at this difficult time.

My friend since high school who guided me on the right path to be a better person. Enjoyed his friendship throughout these years and one who was always there when I needed someone to talk with. Jim was a tremendous man in all aspects of his life. I first met him at Topeka High when I was a student there. Many years later I found myself teaching with Dorothy at the same elementary school. It was during those mutual teaching years that I came to know Jim as a kind man with a great sense of humor. He was always at Dorothy's side wherever and whenever we all gathered. He will be missed. Our condolences to the Coder and Mikinski families.
