Hi Cindy,I am so so sorry I missed James' obituary. He was an amazing man and will truly be missed. I read the accomplishments and I truly have never seen a man more accomplished than James. I just found out today and I was devastated by the news. I know James truly made this world a much better place. He made my life better when I thought there was no hope. But seeing you at Walgreens that day I had made unbelievable progress and James was the last dr.I had seen. My prayers are with you and your family.James certainly set the bar high.I certainly hope Topeka will be blessed with a physician like James..he was blessed by god to become an incredible doctor, but a very special person too.Good luck and God bless. Hi Cynthia and James Jr,

I am deeply saddened and extremely shocked to discover that my "brother from another" James Warren is no longer with us. I met Dr James Warren at the start of our Internal Medicine residencies at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia from 1988-1991. We immediately became fast friends and proceeded to become the "party animals" of the Internal Medicine program, not a difficult task due to the seriousness of the professional WASP's whom inhabited the "main line" area of west Philly. He was the most honest person I ever met and we managed to have great time during residency. We attended CPD events in Myrtle Beach South Carolina where I remember his penchant for fresh oysters and NBA Basketball finals. Another year we attended a CPD conference in Acapulco Mexico where we enjoyed the local treats. After this residency I moved to USC in LA to do an anaesthesiology residency. We kept in touch and "Brother James" accompanied my "pre wife" at the time, Kathy on a road trip from LA to San Diego. We had an incredible time. James was so impressed with California that he was sad to leave. We soothed his tears by giving him a cooler packed full of fresh Pacific salmon that accompanied him on the plane home. He was eternally grateful for any gift, especially fresh fish! I can't believe he's gone. I am profoundly saddened. Love always.

Dear Cynthia and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. James left this earth too soon. I don't know if you remember visiting us here in Green Bay and Minnesota. James had visited a few times before we met you. He came to my oldest sisters funeral as soon as he found out. We got a chance to meet you, Little James, and your daughter, and you were able to meet another part of his family. We tried hard to get in touch with you after you moved to Kansas, but we lost touch. All of us are very shocked and sad to learn of his passing. We found out through a friend of his quite by accident. Our prayers to you and your family. We hope all of you are doing well under the circumstances.

I am deeply saddened to hear of this. I am able to continue to walk without a cane due to his prolotherapy injections over 10 years ago. He was a man of integrity and passion for the advancement in the medical field.
