Me and my husband went to see how papa was doing. And we found out he had passed on. I was stunned, but I know he is in a better place. No more suffering or pain. I called last night to wish Papa Mitchell a Happy Birthday and found out he was gone. My heart goes out to Mama Mitchell and the rest of his family. Papa, Mama & Dorothy taught me so much about the word of God. He is sadly missed but what he gave to many is still with us. Much love to his family.

Oh my Mayo I heard from mama and I feel your pain. Seems like it was just not so long ago we were talking and sharing stories . Remember when we went sledding a couple years back and daddy made you make me hot coco. I will truely miss him as we all will. Will be in touch.

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Mr Mitchell. I was honored to have served with him in the Army Reserve for many years,and was blessed to have called him a mentor and friend.
