Bill Steadman Obituary
Morton - Funeral services for Mr. Bill Steadman will begin at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earl Clark and Rev. Marty Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Morton Memorial Gardens under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday.
Mr. Steadman, age 80, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2018. He was a resident of this area most of his life, and a member of First Baptist Church in Morton. Mr. Steadman was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching college football. Working in his yard was a favorite past time. He will be remembered for the love he had for his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Mrs. Patty Steadman; his parents: Earl Lee & Letha Edwards Steadman; and two brothers: James Steadman and Charles Steadman.
Survivors include three children: Jimmy Steadman, Ricky (Peggie) Steadman, and Billy G. Steadman, all of Morton; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister: Lanell (Lamar) Kilpatrick of Star; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Nicholas Beatty, Kristopher Hank Beatty, Caleb May, Lucas May, Judd May, Rylen Stewart, and LaRan Kilpatrick.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Sanders and Garrett Sanders.
