Craig Scott Ivy, a resident of Brandon, died peacefully at his home on July 26, 2015. He was 51.

Craig was born on August 8, 1963 in Jackson, Mississippi and graduated from Clinton High School. After high school, Craig spent many years in the trucking industry before opening his own business providing construction site cleaning and landscaping services. Craig was injured in a car accident in 2012 leaving him a quadriplegic.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Hal Ivy; and survived by his wife, Kimberly Caserta Ivy; his daughter, Brittany Nicole Sanders and her husband, Adam Sanders; his son, Craig Scott Ivy, Jr.; his mother, Jeri Agent; his sister, Nicki Ivy Willoughby; and his uncle, Bo Baughn. Craig also had two step children, Leighton Gambino and Rocco Gambino.

The family would like to say a special thanks to Craig's health care providers who took wonderful care of him after his accident and during the long recovery period. In addition, the family would like to acknowledge the generosity and love provided by the many members of St. Mark's United Methodist Church.

Jeri and Nicki, I am so sorry to hear about Craig. I have such fond memories of growing up with him... swimming, hanging out, and playing "no ghostie". My prayers will be with your family.
