Dee Hinton Obituary
Brandon
DeMmarrais (Dee) Ann Hinton, 55, died Friday, July 29, 2011 at Hospice Ministries. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Seminary Baptist Church Cemetery in Hintonville, MS. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland.
Dee was born on November 5, 1955, in Mobile, AL, the daughter of Irvin and Emma Hinton. She was a clerk with the Brandon Public Works Dept. Dee loved spending time outdoors and was known for her smile. During her illness, she was an inspiration, touching the lives of many. Dee never complained when in pain and always had a loving word for those visiting her.
Dee will be most remembered by her family as a cherished mother, a beloved daughter, a doting grandmother, a loving sister and an adored friend.
She is preceded in death by her father, Irvin R. Hinton.
Survivors include: best friend and father to their children, John Gearing of Pearl; daughter, Jessica Bishop and husband David of Hampton, VA; son, Jonathan Gearing of Hampton, VA; daughter, Erica Morgan and husband Kelly of Ridgeland; son, Jacob Gearing of Pearl; grandchildren, Stephen and Meagan Lisko; Krissi Donaldson; Seth Lundebo and Ashleigh Gearing. She is also survived by her mother, Emma Hinton of Brandon; sister, Emma Raye Stevens of Stonewall, LA; brother, Irvin B. Hinton of Pearl and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dee would always greet me at 5am with a smile. She was so full of life and wanted to share that. I even liked her sarcasm and wit. ;-) She will be deeply missed.
