Funeral services for Jimmy Lee Murray, 62, of Vicksburg, MS will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Rev. Donald Goodman officiating. Burial will follow in the Rayville Masonic Cemetery, Rayville, LA.
Mr. Jimmy was born September 19, 1950 in Holly Ridge, LA and passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013 in Vicksburg, MS. Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Saul and Nettie Murray; sisters, Betty Murray and Rachel Harris; and his brother, Jr. Murray.
Survivors include his son, Michael Murray of Jackson, MS; brothers, Charles Murray and wife, Barbara of Pearl, MS, Earl Murray and wife, Kathy of West Monroe, LA, Jerry Murray of Monroe, LA, Bobby Murray and wife, Evelyn of Marengo, IL, and Shelby Murray and wife, Peggy of Vicksburg, MS; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be his nephews.
Visitation is 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

I hated to find out that Jim had passed away. I looked for him for years and finally found his obituary which made me very sad. He was my very first true love. I hate that things went badly and we split up. He always has and always will hold a little piece of my heart.

My prayers are with all the murray family.including my son michael murray.my deepest symphany may god bless all the family. Michael murays mom brenda .love and god bless.I did see jim at charlrs home.I will remember him.I wil always have a place in my heart for jim.hes my sons father.thank you all for gracefully being so loving to michael.he lovrs all of his dads family.he now has another family
