Justin McManus Obituary
Visitation is Tuesday, July 15, 2008, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Madison County. Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at the church with burial in Zion Hill Cemetery in Wesson. Stringer Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Justin was a very loving, wonderful, outgoing young man who loved his family and friends very much. He loved to hunt, fish, camp and hang out with friends. His best friend was his Labrador, Duke. Justin was born on March 4, 1991 in Hazlehurst, MS.
Justin was preceded in death by his granddaddy, Alfred Ray Prine and his uncle, David Clyde McManus.
Survivors include: parents, James Kenneth and Susan Prine McManus of Brandon; brothers, James and Jason (J.J.); grandparents, Barbara Prine of Hazlehurst, Joyce and Basil Stricklin of Crystal Springs, and Jim and Betty McManus of Tallahassee, FL; great grandmothers, Inita Hood Stephens and Mrs. Kenneth Bankhead, both of Crystal Springs; aunts and uncles, Lorrie and Wayne Redden of Braxton, Donna and Mark Murphy of Byram, Cindy and Al Pramuk of Roswell, GA, Johnny and Theresa Prine of Hazlehurst; cousins, William, Casey, Brandon, Tristan, Wesley, Allen, Jennifer and Kaylee.

I met Justin thru my son. He was very respectful to everyone he came in contact with. He always had a smile on his face. He and J.J. were always clownin together with my boys Joey and Austin. We will keep the McManus family in our hearts and prayers. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Justin was one of the best friends anyone could ever have. Everytime we hung out we always had a killer time. i cant remember one time that i sad look on his face. He will never be forgotten.

This is an Amazing young man..LOVE him and his brother to death..aka(J.J.)...I have meet Justin one time and tha was when i was with his brother J.J. but from the get go he was as sweet as can be...He would stand on my side when me and J.J. would argee but that waws ok..LOL..But the memories i will hold tite and be happy that i meet him well the family will be in my prayers..

I taught Justin in seventh grade history. He will be greatly missed by all of us. He was always respectful, upbeat, and a stand up guy who was never afraid of hard work. His potential was unlimited.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Our prayers are with you through this terrible time. I remember the boys growing up together & I hope if you need someone to talk to (good times & bad) I am here for you. Your family has always been close to us and I hope it remains that way. I was Justin's English teacher at Pisgah High School, and Justin was such a nice, polite young man. I can remember him dancing at a Junior High dance, and what a brilliant reader he was. I was so impressed with his potential! He will never be forgotten; instead, he will be fondly remembered by the Pisgah community!!!

I didn't know Justin nor do I know much of the family. Im Lee Porter's girlfriend and I am friends with Kay Johnson. I felt the need to write anyway to let you know you are all in my prayers. I recently lost my dad to cancer so I understand the grief of losing a loved one. It was also the thought and prayers of others that helped to make it thru the pain a little easier. Justin was amazing..he was so funny and he will never be forgotten...i remember growing up with him and laughing non stop...he will be missed greatly...we are deeply sorry and can not relate to your pain...Justin Lee was an AMAZING friend and no one could asd for anything more...this is a terrible loss and i will miss him dearly...we all will miss him...
