Florence
Mr. Larry Byron Langston, 75, passed into the arms of Jesus Monday, August 22, 2016 at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 23rd from 5-7 PM and Wednesday, August 24th from 12 PM until the 1 PM Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Faith Baptist Church Cemetery in Florence.
Mr. Langston loved people, especially his family. He was the best husband and father. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
Mr. Langston is preceded in death by his first wife, Wilma Jean Langston; brothers, Bennie Douglas Langston and Craig Lynn Langston and his parents, Albert and Mary Langston. He is survived by his wife, Janet Langston of Florence; son, Larry Heath (Norma) Langston of Florence; daughter, Karen (Mike) Spann of Harrisville and Sandra (Don) Moss of Talking Rock, GA; stepchildren, Russell (Kathy) Johnson of Richland, Linda Simmons of Pearl, and Dawn (Daniel) Cox of Brandon; 13 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
