Terry Threadgill Obituary
Mr. Threadgill was born in Thrasher, MS, and attended Big Creek High School. He was a graduate of Mississippi State University. Having lived in the Oxford area since 1970, he was the Director of Food Service for the Haven House division of Communicare, Inc. Mr. Threadgill held memberships in S.A.R. (Sons of the American Revolution) and the MSU Alumni Association. He was a member of North Oxford Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held today from 5:00 pm -8:00 pm at Coleman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2008, 2:00 pm at North Oxford Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Richardson and Bro. Johnny Flynt officiating with interment in St. Peter's Cemetery in Oxford, MS. Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include: his wife, Peggy Aven Threadgill of Oxford, MS; a daughter, Amy (Dewayne) Threadgill Burnett of Paducah, KY; two sons, Dr. Todd (Robin) Threadgill of Oxford, MS and Terry (Leslie) Threadgill of Madison, MS; one brother, Rev. James Cedric Threadgill, Jr. of Eupora, MS; one sister, Margaret Threadgill Holman of Louisville, MS; four grandchildren, Hannah Elizabeth Burnett, Hannah Katharine Threadgill, Sarah Aven Threadgill, and John Grayden Threadgill.
Memorials may be made to Tribute Program, St. Jude Childrens' Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.

I'm very sorry to hear of your tremendous loss of Mr. Threadgill. I met him only once but was deeply touched by his huge heart which was evidenced by his love for hurting and sick people. I mourn with you and am praying for you. I'm here for you.
