Tommie was a ray of sunshine just being around him. I was so blessed to work with Tommie for over 4 years. The joy he brought to a room and his kindness always shined through. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Tommie's passing. Heaven has gained a music loving, Minnesota football fan and a wonderful man. You were truly an angel. I miss you Tommie and pray for your family during this difficult time.

I am still in absolute shock over how this happened. I know he's never been the same since he lost his Ingrid. So I know on one level he's happy to have moved on to the next dimension of his being. But he's left so many people who love him behind. His mom, his sister especially. You all have my deepest sympathies.

Tommie had a way of making you feel instantly at ease in his company. I only knew him somewhat briefly but he had a way about him, for sure. It's difficult to put into words but it was like he made you want to please him. Maybe it was that infectious laugh that cracked me up whenever I heard it.

I never had chance to thank him for being so welcoming and generous when I first came to Georgia because... well, I guess I just always assumed they'd be time to do it. If there's one thing I've learned from this it's that tomorrow isn't promised, and If we appreciate someone we should tell them.

So thankyou Tommie.. for just being a nice guy.

The thing I will remember most about Tommy is his beautiful smile. Tommy was loved by so many. I hope he knew this. It was an honor to have known him and to be able to call him friend.
