I was looking up people who were pivitol in my life and thought of Dr Mark who saved my life in 1955 at the 7100th Hospital when he removed a large sub dural hematoma on my right side. My recovery was long and successful. I was stationed at Bitburg. I had visited him twice at Harvard Medical School where he sat me in front of his neuro-class showing them one of the first bone-grafts into a skull. I remember him very fondly and will miss him.

To Mrs. Mark and family,

I just came across this today. I am very sorry to hear about Dr. Mark's passing; I have fond memories visiting David and your family many years ago when you lived in Brookline, MA, and listening to Dr. Mark play the piano.

I very much hope the rest of the family is doing well.

warm regards,
