Will Adams Obituary

Will Adams

Clinton

William (Will) Whitman Adams III, 33, died at UMMC hospital in Jackson, MS on January 30, 2016.

Will was born in Jackson, MS to William Whitman (Whit) Adams Jr. and Nancy Oglesby Adams. Raised in Jackson, he was a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church and attended Hillcrest Academy and Holmes Jr. College.

Will's greatest joy was his son William Lee Adams, age 10. Will was a single dad for seven years and was solely responsible for the upbringing of his young son. In 2012, they welcomed a new member to the family when Will married Keely Ballard.

Some of Will's interests included martial arts and water skiing. Will was a master martial artist having received his fourth degree black belt in Tang Soo Do. He was also an avid water skier, including barefoot skiing. These are activities that he enjoyed with his son William.

He was employed at Adco Electric Inc., a family business, as a Network Administrator. At Adco he supported multiple computer work stations, several servers and other communication integration.

Will is survived by his wife, Keely Ballard Adams; son, William Lee Adams; sister Sarah Amanda (Mandy) Adams Lynskey and, husband Darryl (Charlie) Lynskey, nephew Daulton Wade Lynskey, niece Allyssa Rose Lynskey; mother Nancy Oglesby Adams; and father William Whitman (Whit) Adams Jr.

Visitation will be held for Will at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 5-8pm. Visitation will also be held Wednesday, February 3, from 10-11am with funeral services immediately following at 11am in the funeral home chapel.
