I am so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.
I still have the two pieces of furniture that Mr. Bland refinished when my husband was alive. My granddaughter has Debbie for Math and speaks so highly of her. That in itself is a tribute to Mr. Bland and the kind of person he was.
May God be with you all.

To the Bland Family:
No words I can express will relieve the hurt that I know you are feeling at the present moment. In time God will ease the pain and you will recall with fondness what a good husband, father and grandfather he was. Claim those happy memories of the past and the future will always be bright.
His legacy will live on at First Baptist Church because of all the time and energy he put in wanting to make God's House look its best. I especially remember the beautiful book cases he built for various offices while I served as the Education Minister at FBC...just another expression for his love of God and his church. Henry Bland was a good friend and he will be missed by all.
May comfort come your way during your time of grief. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
