Ruby Roybal, 64, of Brighton, CO went home to be with the Lord on January 2, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
Ruby Roybal was born on June 20, 1956 to Anita Rojo Montoya and Ruben Montoya Sr. in Denver, CO.
Ruby lived a full and vibrant life with more friends than you can count. She was a forced to be reckoned with since day one. Ruby had a generous soul, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to family and friends in need. Ruby always chose to see the good in people and was meant to bring love into this world. Ruby had a great deal of faith and knew God was with her the entire time and knew that one day he would carry her to heaven.
Family was everything to ruby. The legacy she leaves behind is one of love, honor and respect.
Ruby is survived by her father; Ruben Montoya Sr. A daughter, Genevieve (Bobby) Roybal. By her grandchildren; Cody (Lily) Roybal, LeAndra Roybal, Jaylene and Jayden Maes. Also by a great-grandchild, Izayiah Roybal. Brothers; Cecilio Guerrero, Ruben (Yvonne) Montoya II, Ralph Montoya, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ruby is preceded in death by her mother, Anita Rojo Montoya. Also by her sisters Barbara Saenz, and Virginia Castor along by one brother, Robert Montoya.
Services will be Friday, January 15, 2021, beginning at 9:30 am, followed by Rosary at 10:30 am and Mass at 11:00 am, all at St. William Catholic Church, 1025 Fulton Ave., Fort Lupton, Colorado. Interment follows at Hillside Cemetery.
