Harriet Bellanfant Obituary
Mrs. Harriet Mary Baxter Bellanfant, age 81, departed this earthly life on March 8, 2021.
Walk-through viewing will be Friday, March 12, 2021 at V.K Ryan & Son Funeral Home from 1pm – 6-pm; family will be present from 4pm – 6pm. Body will lie-in-state on Saturday from 1pm – 2pm; funeral services beginning at 2pm, at Carmack Boulevard Church of Christ. Interment will be at Polk Memorial Gardens.
She was born on April 9, 1939 to the late Eycell and Annie Vestal Baxter. She was married to the late Elmer Bellanfant.
Harriet was preceded in death by four brothers, Gene, Carrer, James and Charles Baxter, two sisters, Novolene and Hattie Baxter, and one daughter, Sandra Goff.
Harriet attended school in Maury County.
She loved everyone and everyone loved her. She loved cooking and have people come to eat at her home. Everyone was always welcome. She was a great cook, loved shopping and loved traveling.
Harriet leaves to cherish her memories, her brother, Johnny (Joyce) Baxter; daughters, Margaret and Teresa; four sons, Luther (Rosyln), Donny (Deborah), Norman, and Terry Bellanfant; 10 granddaughters; 8 grandsons; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 bonus daughters Orris Petty, Vickie Dawson, and Vaughnita Johnson; 4 favorite brother-in-laws, BO, W.C., Cricket, and Larry; one sister-in-law, Loraine.
V.K. Ryan & Son Funeral Home will assist the family with arrangements.

Sending my Condolences with much love prayers and blessings to Margaret and the rest of the family.
I remember Harriet to be such a loving person she trusted me to care in taking her children to Sunday school years ago. We became good friends from that acquaintance. She was loved by all that knew her.
I pray the comfort of God be with the family during their hours of bereavement in the name of Jesus.
