Robert Reiling Obituary
Robert L. Reiling Jr., 47, of Leigh died June 16, 2018, at the Columbus Community Hospital.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, June 21 at Gass Haney Funeral Home. Robert was a donor to Nebraska Organ Recovery System. He wishes were to be cremated. Memorials may be made to the family.
Robert L. Reiling, Jr., was born Oct. 27, 1970, in Denver to Robert L. and Shirley (Williams) Reiling, Sr. Rob attended school in Stromsburg. He lived in numerous places throughout the years before making Columbus his home in 2011. Rob worked at Duo Lift Manufacturing and Mid-State Engineering before going to work for Kit Held Trucking in October 2017. He loved going mudding and playing video games. Rob enjoyed spending time with his extended family, kids, nieces and nephews.
Rob is survived by his mother, Shirley (John) Morrison of Kissimmee, Florida, fiancé Brandi Eckhardt and her children Kayleigh and Denver, of Leigh; close friends Linda Smith of Columbus, Larry (Erin) Rose and children of Schuyler; Tina (Dale) Lauterbach and children of Octavia and Trent Price and children of Schuyler.
Rob was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Reiling Sr. and his grandparents.

He was my step dad (I'm Denver) and he was amazing, I think about him every now and then and miss him more than I can explain, I just wish he could come back.
