I remember my church member making the announcements at TODCOGIC and he was always humble! May THE LORD keep and strengthen his family during this difficult time! GOD will see you through and give you peace and power. Continue to serve and believe and healing will overtake you! Thank YOU Father for releasing this family from pain, hurt and sorrow! Fill in the void and replace the broken pieces and make them whole again. In JESUS NAME!! Amen

Ben was a true professional broadcast journalist.
He was always friendly and outgoing.
He never failed to offer a handshake and smile when we would run into each other on various assignments.
He will be missed.

I was introduced to Ben Watson by WMCTV and formerly introduced to him by my best friend and her mom, Dina and Dana Couch. What I saw on TV was the exact same thing I got in person... A well-spoken, passionate and very polite gentleman. Sending my deepest condolences to the Watson and Couch families.

RIP My dear friend and colleague. You were always called "Gentle Ben" at WMC, but you were a GIANT among our reporters. Never a harsh word for anyone and always pleasant to talk to. I will miss the times you called me at NBC to say "Hey Shari, I just did a great story...".
Much love to your family. I hope they know how much you were loved, especially at WMC. And thanks for being an organ donor. You knew how much that meant to me personally. You left a legacy that I will always be grateful for and I'm sure the lives you saved are honored.
