Martin Lacker Obituary
Memphis, TN
Martin J. "Marty" Lacker peacefully passed Monday, February 13, 2017 of natural causes. He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Rose Grodstein Lacker and his sister Anne Louise Lacker Grenadier. He is survived by two daughters Angie and Sheri Lacker of Memphis and one son Marc Lacker (Brenda Stoyka Lacker), Best friend, Patsy Daniels, Grandchildren are Brandon Lacker (Whitney), Cody Lacker and Katelynn Lacker and three Great Grandchildren Kydon, Kinzyn and Keston Lacker, and Special friends Billy and Jo Smith and Julie Bramlett.
Services will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Baron Hirsch Cemetery.

Marty Lacker was a talented, loyal, passionate, caring, brutally honest and intelligent man/friend/husband/father. I am saddened to lose my friend but my thoughts, and prayers, go out to his family and loved ones on this day and others to follow. May God grant them time to mourn and then to...heal. Martin was probably one of Elvis` true friends till the end of the road , and a honest person . He had great stories and played a big part in The Elvis World after Elvis passed away. Thank You Marty Lacker for really trying to Take Care of Elvis !!!

Sad to hear of Mr. Lacker's passing, may he rest in eternal peace. I was never able to meet him, but loved watching him tell his stories on "All the King's Men" videos with the rest of the guys. Prayers for his eternal rest and for peace for his family. He will never be forgotten, he is part of Elvis history.

I did not have the opportunity to meet Marty. I know he had an amazing daughter that became a dear friend to me. (Angie) I was so impressed with Marty Angie and I would be talking on the phone and he would always knock on her door to tell her good night and that he loved her. I think that tells you that he was an awesome man who cherished his family. I am so sorry I didn't get to meet him.
