It was an honor to know Steve even though I hadn't seen him since 1974. We were both in the original Lynchburg Baptist College Chorale (now Liberty University). We traveled by bus full-time for 3 months in summer and quite often with Jerry Falwell and Doug Oldham to various cities by plane for rallies. Steve had a great sense of humor and can't wait to see him again in Heaven.

I've not seen Steve for probably 35+ years, and we were shocked to hear of his early departure to heaven. We were both a part of the original LBC Chorale that traveled with Jerry Falwell in the early 70's all across America. Steve was "quiet" at times, but also a very funny guy when he wanted to be. We will miss him and look forward to reuniting in our eternal home with Jesus!

Stevie was my friend from earliest childhood. We never "dated" but he was my first date. When we were kids, I asked him to escort me to a Valentine banquet at my church and he did but we both felt odd because we were so very young. I admire Stevie for his dedication to our Savior as well as to Ms Pauline. He probably kicked up the Heavenly choir a notch.
