Donald Heath Obituary
Vero Beach, FL - Donald Wayne Heath, 89, of Vero Beach, FL, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024. Born on September 6, 1935, in Goffstown, NH, Donald was the beloved son of the late Morris C. and Lila Aline (Cleveland) Heath. After graduating from high school, he proudly served in the National Guard before joining the United States Marine Corps.
Donald dedicated much of his life to carpentry and construction, a profession that reflected his passion for craftsmanship. He and his wife, Theresa, relocated to Vero Beach from Concord, NH, in 1986, where he continued to thrive both personally and professionally.
An avid lover of the ocean, Donald found joy in boating and long-distance ocean swimming. His woodworking skills were renowned, and he took great pleasure in sharing his expertise. Most weekends, his workshop was a hub of activity, where neighborhood children eagerly gathered to learn from him and engage in various projects. His legacy of passing down knowledge and passion to the next generation will be fondly remembered.
Donald is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years, Theresa Heath; their daughters, Brenda Dissanayake, Diane Grabenbauer, and Karen Hardman; and his grandchildren, Nissa Freeman, Jaya Verolla, Katelin Hardman, David Dissanayake, Alexandra Dissanayake and Zoe Dissanayake. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Kenzington Borello, Remington Freeman, and Jade Reid.
Donald will be remembered for his dedication to family, his love for the ocean, and the legacy of his craftsmanship. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Don was a dear friend and we´ll miss him greatly. The work Don did on our home in Hopkinton, NH is a tribute to the craftsmanship and love he put into his work. Our sincere condolences to Teresa and their family.

I have wonderful memories of Don and all the fine work for us at Russell Animal Hospital and personally for us at our homes, he was a wonderful craftsman and human being.
