This is the first we’ve heard of Jim‘s passing. We send our most sincere condolences to his family. Jim was actually kind of part of our family also as we spent many get together’s in Wells at all home days. He was very close with our aunt Evelyn Buyce. Jim never ceased to amaze us with tales of his days in the military and his work in Antarctica. He was an extraordinary individual; certainly one of the “Greatest Generation”. He had humble beginnings but his natural inquisitiveness and enthusiasm for life and knowledge allowed him to experience things that we can only dream about. I will miss our conversations. R.I.P. Jim.

Jim, I have so many fond memories of you. Visiting you in Rhode Island, having telephone conversations with you and your wonderful eulogy at my Mom's funeral. You may be gone but not forgotten. Prayers for your family.
love, Joan Farrell
