James Congleton Obituary

MANCHESTER – James Byron Congleton of Hopkinton, New Hampshire, a retired engineer for the Raytheon company, died of Parkinson's disease  on Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, at the Veteran's  Medical Center in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Jim was born and raised in Marietta, Ohio, and was a veteran of the Korean war.  He enlisted with the Air Force and then transferred to the Navy where he served during the war with the UDT Special Operations Forces.

After his four year military term, he went to Lexington, Massachusetts, where he worked as an infrared engineering specialist with the Honeywell company.  He later went to Raytheon in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, and worked on Defense Department government contracts.

Jim will be greatly missed by his family and friends. May he rest in the arms of our Lord.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016  from 10 a.m. to 11:45  a.m. at Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street in Concord, New Hampshire.  A Mass of Christian Burial will  follow at 12 noon at Christ the King Parish/St. John's, 72 South Main Street, Concord.  Interment with military honors will take place at the NH State Veteran's Cemetery, Boscawen at 1:30 p.m.
