I lived with Mark as a suite-mate my sophomore year at Dartmouth. I found him to be very studious but also had a fabulous dry sense of humor. The picture above captures the way I remember him. We both were pre-med so I had classes in common with him. I completely lost contact with Mark but from time to time, I'd remember some of the funny times we all had in the dorm. I am glad he found his calling and had a lot of familial support. He had a great personality for giving. "The North Hills will remember His Name".

Dear Betsy & Family,
I was unaware Mark was unwell and sad to learn about his passing. He was part of the team when I was hired at DHC in 1990 and your family welcomed us Concord. We lost touch with a change in practice setting but our children remained in contact. My thoughts are with all. With hugs, Sandra

Betsy and family,
My husband and I are very sorry for your loss. Dr. Bardo was our doctor years ago. I followed him across the street and would have loved to continue when he left Concord. The first time we met was in the office. His words in greeting make me laugh to this day: "Hi, I'm Dr. Bardo, heck of a way to first meet!" I will always remember him as a kind and caring doctor. Prayers for you all, Kim & Michael Tucker

Betsy, Nick, Sam and Johanna. So sorry for this loss but I know there is some measure of relief. I treasure my connection to him not only as my doctor who always took way too much time in our appointments but also as one if my favorite people in Concord. Fond memories of driving together to Boys and Girls club travel basketball team games with the Dead for music because Nick wanted it. Best wishes to all.

Besty, I'm so sorry for your loss of your husband and best friend. I only got to meet Mark in person once because of his illness. It only took that one time seeing that big smile and all that you have shared with me to know what a gentle, caring, loving husband, father, son grandfather, brother, uncle, and so many blessed friendships. May you all enjoy all the beautiful memories.
