Jimmy Lee Casey, 63, of Forney, Texas, passed away March 4, 2025, at his residence with many family members, and friend Cathy Jones, by his side. He was born February 19, 1962, in Russellville, Arkansas. He attended Dover Schools, and graduated from Arkansas Tech University where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha. He then moved to the Dallas, Texas, area, and worked as a computer programmer for the last 41 years. He enjoyed raising chickens and ducks, canning and preserving all types of food, traveling to many different countries, and spending time with his Australian Sheppard "Rocky" for 14 years. He was a very caring and generous man that always looked after and made sure his family was taken care of.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leo H. Casey of Dover; sister and brother-in-law, Ruby and Richard Roberts of Dover; sister, Betty Casey of Russellville; and brother, Tommy Lee Casey of Kountze, Texas.
He is survived by sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Willis Parks of Dover; sister-in-law, Debbie Tuller of Fayetteville; uncle and aunt, Bill and Lynn Casey of Atkins; nephews, Kevin and Wendy Hogan of Atkins, Michael and Tonia Parks of Dover, David and Karen Parks of Dover; niece, Jennifer Bryant of Fayetteville; great-nieces and nephews, Jessica Chldress, Tasha Garay, Nate Parks, Zack Bryant, Mason Parks, William Bryant, Garrett Hogan, Addalynn Parks, Abbott Childress, Amelia Childress, Britney Davis, Lindsey Phommavongsa, and Brandon Hottinger; and numerous other family and friends.
Graveside service and burial will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, at McFadden Cemetery with Rev. Dean Caldwell and Sis. Peggy Caldwell officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
Honorary pallbearers are employees of Dal-Tile.
