Dan had such a joyful personality. While we didnt interact much, his Facebook posts AlWaYs brought a smile to my face, and usually when I most needed it. May he be wrapped in the warm embrace of Our Lord God forever and ever. Peace be with all of his loved ones. I am sorry for your loss and grief.

He was a lot of fun on Facebook. When I was in high school at West I knew John his brother. We had a little band together and I was over his house many times and knew his mom and dad. Dan was a little kid, Johns little brother that always ran up to us and had something to say. Well that was 1972-73. Then recently (like 8 years ago) we became friends on Facebook and we ended up having the best times on Facebook. I have friends on Facebook that never knew him at all other than Facebook but they will miss him to.

My deepest condolences to Dan's family. Dan was always out to share his wacky sense of humor, love of all things Batman, and the Philadelphia Eagles. He made me laugh every day with his zany wit and razor sharp sense of humor. I'm truly going to miss our daily razzing one another about all those things, and Dan's penchant for that darned "Laugh" emoji. May you rest peacefully, until we meet again brother...

Sending heartfelt condolences to your family. Those of us in the Querubin family, who lived next door to Danny on Sheffield Drive, a long time ago, will always remember him as a kind person, always with a smile. We look back at that time fondly, remembering many happy moments and feel grateful to have lived next door to the Dexter family.

I met Dan and later his family in 2002. He was the new manager where we worked. No matter how many ups and downs we all had during that time, I absolutely had a blast working with him. He always stuck up for his employees, and really took care of us.
I know Holly and I will miss him lots.
Thank you for letting us know you Dan. Until we meet again.

I have known Dan for almost 8 years. I would come monthly to medically check on him, but really we ended up talking about everything else....his boys (which he was so proud of), the Eagles, his frequent new haircuts/style and always he would ask, " did you bring me any cookies?" .... I would always respond , " Dan, I'm trying to make you lose weight and you always ask me for things you shouldn't eat anyway!" And he would just smile and shrug his shoulders. I will miss this interaction and banter we had for so many years. He wasn't only my patient but he became a friend. I will miss stopping and seeing him, I will miss his very long text at any hour of the day (that barely made sense, haha), and I will miss our monthly conversations. Dan, I hope you are up in heaven eating as many cookies as you want now !!!!!! Xoxox

Last time we saw Mr. Dexter was when Mark was surprising the family with the baby news. The game we played was so fun and I will never forget your dads face when he realized a new bundle of joy was about to enter your family. I also particularly remember the feeling in that room on that rainy night, the amount of love and joy you all had for each other was so heart warming. So much love and support all around from everyone. You have a super strong family and will lean on each other in this tough time. We are sending many hugs and lots of love your way.

My deepest sympathy for Patti and family. Dan was 1 in a million full of life, laughter and love for family and friends. We met at SOA December 28th 1984 in the warranty processing department. Dan welcomed me with jokes, a big smile and help navigating the office.
Our last visit was very similar to our first; laughter, smiles and stories. Dan was a tremendous life force and I will miss his inappropriate Facebook posts and direct messages.

Its a sad thing for the Eagles since their #1 fan is gone. Danny was the most Die Hard Eagles fan Ive come across. He was a trooper! It was a pleasure taking care of him in the INCU at Cooper. I can still see his Eagles neon light in the window. I can remember getting him ready that one Christmas so the family could watch Invincible (the Eagles movie on Vince Papale) with him at the bedside! Heavens gonna be a bit brighter with its new star. My condolences to Patti and the whole family. And Patti-you were as much a trooper as Danny-I could see the love and caring you had for him. God bless you and your family!

It's been a long time since I saw Danny and Patti but who can ever forget the "Dexter" family? I think a lot of people thought you all were part owners of Subaru. I hope your fond memories of Danny and his sense of humor will help get your family through a most difficult time. Memories will never be forgotten. God Bless your family, my thoughts and prayers are with you all!

My favorite memory of Dan and Pattie is when his half of the room was Eagles and the other half was Dallas. Awesome competition in room 1066 that year. It was my honor and pleasure to take care of Dan in the INCU and get to know his number 1 fan Pattie his beautiful wife. May you rest in peace Dan. Pattie may you find peace in the fact that the 2 of you had something most people only dream about. God Bless!
